Classroom Expectations
Show Respect, Make Good Decisions, and Solve Problems. We will follow these basic expectations of good behavior and citizenship in class. Students will color their behavior calendar each day to show their adherence to these expectations. Positive rewards will be given out to students who show exemplary behavior and citizenship.
Important Information
Students may have a water bottle with a secure lid at school. Please make sure the water is room temperature. Ice water melts and ruins papers on desks.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for PE. We will do PE on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Sometimes it will be damp on the grass and closed-toe shoes are a must for running and playing games.
We know how important birthdays are to a third grader. We will honor and celebrate your child’s birthday in our classroom with a card and a special gift. We will also celebrate all summer birthdays. PLEASE do not bring in food treats. Your child may share favorite non-food items such as pencils, erasers, stickers or small toys with his/her classmates. Thank you for your cooperation.
